I’ll spend the whole day eating only at places recommended by taxi drivers. I’ll ask the first driver where they would personally go for breakfast, eat there, then get another taxi and ask that driver where I should go next. The goal is to see whether taxi drivers actually know the best local food in the city.

I’ll spend the day looking for non-Chinese food around Nanjing and try to eat something from as many different countries as possible. The interesting part is seeing what’s actually available here and how close it is to the food you’d get in the original country.

I’ll spend one full day eating in Shanghai with only a $10 food budget. I’ll start with a local breakfast, then try to make the money last through lunch, snacks and dinner. I’ll keep the remaining budget on screen throughout the video so we can see if I actually make it to the end of the day.

Compare Har Gow in London and Guangzhou

I’ll try har gow from a few different places in London and then do the same in Guangzhou. I’ll compare the wrapper, prawns, texture, price and overall taste to see how close London can get to Guangzhou.

I’ll try bubble tea at a few different price points, starting at £1 and ending with a £100 version. I want to compare the taste, ingredients, toppings and overall experience and see when spending more actually stops being worth it. At the end I’ll do a blind taste test and rank them without knowing the prices.

For the first set of videos, I'd like to focus on cooking foods in LOTR series (bread, seed-cakes, buttered scones, mead, foods with different types of potatoes, etc). My first video will focus on making lembas bread. It will be a follow-along recipe, and I'll end with a finishing phrase like "Now it's time for elevensies" or "shoot, I'm hungry again".

I’ll visit popular London street food markets like Borough Market, Camden Market, and maybe Maltby Street. I’ll try different foods, show the atmosphere, talk about prices, and give my honest opinion on which place is most worth visiting.

A food travel video where I try different fish and chip shops around the UK and see which one actually lives up to the hype. Not too serious, just honest reactions, crispy batter checks, chip review, curry sauce/gravy debate and maybe asking locals where they go.

I’m doing a deep dive into the 2026 London scene, testing for viscosity, "Barikata" (extra-hard) noodle consistency, and that elusive 'umami' punch. We’re checking if the big names like Ippudo still have it, and if the independent "speakeasy" spots are actually worth the hour-long wait in the rain.

The London "Boba Boom" has matured. This isn't just a food crawl; it’s a guide to the 2026 shift toward real ingredients. We’re comparing the "theatrical" spots like Xing Fu Tang with the new wave of functional tea and high-grade Japanese roasted boba.
