What would it be like to live the Fellowship? Let's find out!
High Level Video Summary
LOTR-inspired camping and cooking series where I recreate the experience of the Fellowship travelling through Middle-earth, using one of their camp scenes as inspiration. I’d head out into nature with basic camping equipment and recreate the kind of simple food they might prepare on the journey, cooking over a fire and keeping everything as rustic as possible. The video would combine camping, cooking and LOTR storytelling, making viewers feel like they are travelling through Mid Earth.
Detailed Video Script
1. The journey Head out into nature with a small pack, dressed subtly like a LOTR traveller. 2. Setting up camp Build the campsite, collect firewood where permitted, set up the tent and prepare the cooking area. 3. The LOTR reference Show the scene you're recreating and explain the inspiration behind the meal. 4. Cooking Prepare the food over the fire using simple ingredients and basic equipment. 5. Eat around the campfire Keep this section slower and atmospheric, with LOTR music-inspired ambience, nature sounds and storytelling. 6. Rating Finish by asking: "Would this survive the journey to Mordor?"
Target Audience
The primary audience would be Lord of the Rings fans aged 18–35, particularly those interested in camping, outdoor adventure, cooking, fantasy and cosy/nostalgic content. It could also reach people who aren't hardcore LOTR fans but enjoy cinematic ca

More from A Fool Of A Cook
Cooking A Hobbit's Meal Every Day Until I Run Out Of Recipes
The concept is a daily cooking series where I make a different meal, snack or drink inspired by The Lord of the Rings and Middle-earth until I eventually run out of recipes. Each video starts with a consistent hook such as, “Day X of cooking a Hobbit’s meal every day until I run out of recipes. Today we’re making Hobbiton seed cakes, so let’s get to it!” I’ll then quickly take viewers through the cooking process, add some fun Lord of the Rings context or trivia, and finish by tasting the dish.

For the first set of videos, I'd like to focus on cooking foods in LOTR series (bread, seed-cakes, buttered scones, mead, foods with different types of potatoes, etc). My first video will focus on making lembas bread. It will be a follow-along recipe, and I'll end with a finishing phrase like "Now it's time for elevensies" or "shoot, I'm hungry again".
