Opening

Explain the challenge quickly.

AI gets £100 and one day to give me the best London experience possible.

A local gets exactly the same challenge.

I don't tell either side what the other one has chosen.

Day 1 — AI

Ask AI:

"You have £100 to plan the best possible day in London for someone who wants good food, interesting things to do and something they wouldn't normally experience as a tourist. Plan the entire day including transport."

Show the itinerary briefly on screen.

Then follow it exactly.

For each stop I'll give a quick reaction and keep track of how much money I've spent.

Things I'm looking for:

Is AI sending me somewhere genuinely good or just somewhere famous?
Are the recommendations too touristy?
Does the itinerary actually work geographically?
Did AI underestimate prices?
Is there anything unexpected?

At the end of the day I'll give the AI day a score, but won't reveal the final result yet.

Day 2 — The Local

Find someone who has lived in London for years.

Give them the same challenge:

£100 total.

One day.

Food + something to do + transport.

They can't copy anything from the AI itinerary.

Ideally I won't know most of their choices beforehand.

Follow their itinerary exactly.

This should hopefully create some more spontaneous moments because the local might send me somewhere I would never normally visit.

Again, keep track of the money and score every stop.

Final Comparison

Put both days side by side.

Value for money

Surprise factor

How much of London did I actually experience?

Then reveal my overall winner.
