The Ultimate Bleach Frauds Tier List

Hook

Talking about how Bleach has lied and tricked us into thinking the thousand year blood war is a masterpiece for the high IQ.

High Level Video Summary

Using GIFs and memes to unravel why some of the major groups in the anime Bleach are complete frauds such as the Visoreds, Byakuya, Gremmy the kid, Gerard Valkyrie, Yamamoto Decoy, Chad and a range of other colorful characters who I dissect one by one for their flaws.

Detailed Video Script

For years now, the anime community has treated 'Thousand-Year Blood War' like it’s some kind of... I don't know, sacred, high-IQ masterpiece. Everyone on TikTok is talking about how these Captains are, like, cold-blooded tactical geniuses. They tell you the Quincies are this elite, terrifying military threat.

So, we gotta start with... wait, actually, let's start with a group of people who I’m convinced only show up to work so they can collect a disability check. The Visoreds.

Next up... we have the CEO of fake-out deaths: Byakuya Kuch- Kuchiki. Whatever, you know who I'm talking about.

Let’s be real for a second. His defeat against Äs Nödt in Part 1? Absolute masterpiece. It was tragic. His sword shattered into dust. He’s begging Ichigo, through literal tears, to save his home. I was in my room, sobbing, wiping my nose on my sleeve, feeling all this raw human emotion.

Alright, let's talk about Gremmy. This kid has 'The Visionary' Schrift. He can turn anything he imagines into reality. He can spawn meteors out of nowhere, turn your bones into... cookies? Yes, literally cookies.

Gerard Valkyrie is... he is that annoying kid on the playground who just makes up his own rules as he goes. You tag him, and he’s like, 'Nuh-uh, I have a laser shield.' His power is 'The Miracle.' Basically, the more you beat him up, the bigger and stronger he gets. Kenpachi slices him in half? Nope, he grows back.

Old man Yamamoto unleashed the actual heat of the sun, right? He conjured an army of the dead. He went through this massive, dramatic emotional crisis to defeat the main villain. He was standing there, chest out, thinking he just saved the entire universe.

I love Chad. I really do. He spent months training in a dark room, hyping himself up as Ichigo’s ultimate shield. He finally gets up to the Soul King Palace—the celestial battlefield where the fate of reality is being decided.

Let's talk about Haschwalth. Yhwach’s right-hand man. The Grand Grandmaster of the Sternritter. This man walks around with a pristine blonde haircut, looking like he owns a luxury watch company.

So, yeah... there you have it. The mathematically objective, indisputable guide to the biggest frauds in Bleach.

What counts as a “fraud” here: what the story promised, what the character claimed, or what they actually achieved? Pick one test and apply it to the first character before the rapid-fire memes start. People can still argue about the rankings, but at least they'll know the rules of your list.

Yes setting out the framework does seem very important. I've seen other creators create similar tier list and ranking meme-type videos where they set out the framework by which they're judging the character and then they explain their rankings and reasoning throughout the video.

I think defining what the standards are for being a fraud and why people actually hype or rate the characters in the first place is quite important for setting the scene. Maybe worthwhile comparing people's actual opinions and why they're rated so highly and then giving the counterargument and by what logic you are calling them frauds

I’d keep the deliberately absurd “fraud investigation” tone because that’s clearly the strongest part of the concept, but give the video a tighter underlying argument. Rather than simply listing characters who are weak or disappointing, frame each section around what the story promised us versus what the character actually delivered, then use the memes and exaggerated commentary to tear that gap apart.
