“the chicken is spicy but not in a painful way, like it actually has flavour. plantain is sweet, soft, kinda addictive not gonna lie. rice and peas is good too, it makes the whole plate feel proper.”

How long will this video be? I worry that because you focus only on one food, the video will be too short. Showing close-up footage of the chef preparing the food would make this video look more professional and add an extra dimension to the vlog.

It would be great if you could use b-roll, sound bites, and varied angles to make the vlog more visual grabbing. If you call ahead, they will often tell you the quietest/ busiest times to come so you can get the best footage.

Your title is a bit weak, "Trying Jamaican Food in London". Make it more competitive or show some kind of conflict to force people to find out more. Something like: Finding the Best Jerk Chicken in London, Jamaican Food So Good I Forgot I’m in London, Camden vs Brixton Jamaican Food Battle

This could be fun if it feels like you are following a real recommendation, not just buying random food for the camera. I would centre it on one spot and a few obvious orders: a patty, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and maybe oxtail or curry goat if they have it. Show the steam, the sauce, the first bite, and what the place feels like inside. The main thing I would avoid is making it too broad. "Trying Jamaican food in London" is fine, but "London told me to try this Jamaican spot" feels more alive and gives viewers something to agree or argue with.
