Why will this video succeed?

Onsen culture is vastly different to Western bathing culture, and for many foreigners it's seen as quite intimidating. By destigmatising it and showcasing it in a fun way, it can inspire others to take the plunge.

Strategic value to your channel

My channel is travel-centred, and the idea is to sustain the channel with lives and shorts, and then cherry-pick long-form videos out of content that is either unusual or has a personal twist.

You should include warnings about wani's and how to best protect yourself in wild onsen too.

Include the nitty gritty details such as how to get there from major cities, what to bring with you, etc

Which of the five would you send a nervous first-timer to? I'd give each location one honest trade-off, such as scenery versus ease of access or privacy, then answer that question at the end. It would turn the list into a recommendation rather than five equally pretty stops.

We're Going Wherever This Dart Lands

At the beginning of the livestream, we will throw a dart at a map of Japan and then on stream we need to figure out how to get there (car, train, plane) and then head there. The aim is to get there as quickly as possible without using the BRB screen; however, if we need to fly then we will have to put on a BRB screen. Ideally, driving is best though.

Which thumbnail should I use for my livestream?

We will be learning sword skills from a professional swordsman, and I'm wondering which style to lean into. It's a very casual stream environment where we chat about life while showing people unique things around Japan. We love anime and often chat about that on stream; however, I think the samurai/ninja style best showcases what kinda things we will get up to.
